Tripan 225 x 60mm Cooking Bags (Boil & Steam)
These cooking bags are generally used for the boiling or steaming of hams, beef, and legs of pork.
Ideally, these are used in conjunction with elasticated meat netting.
Viscofan Classic Line casings are typically used for the Production of cooked meat Products which demand excellent mechanical resistance and moderate barrier. They are also used to produce other non-meat Products like processed cheese, butter, fish sausages, soups, sauces. Additionally, these casings can be used in other non-food applications like pet-food.
The advantages of using Tripan cooking bags are:
- They are extremely strong, yet flexible to handle and clip
- Only suitable for boil and steam cooking
- Cold-resistant (to - 60)
- Tripan cooking bags will reduce cooking time
These cooking bags should be soaked for at least 60 minutes totally immersed in lukewarm water.
Fill firmly and without air pockets, but do not overfill.
Viscofan casings do not contain allergenic substances, in accordance with European Regulation (EU) 1169/2011.
