Pork and Apple Burger Mix
Our Pork and Apple Burger Mix is ideal for use with pork which is full of herbs and apple pieces. This mix has great visual appeal.
Features:
- 340g per sachet
- 7.5% usage rate
- Pre-mix of seasoning and rusk
- Each 340g seasoning will make 10lbs of burgers
Instructions:
Mixer
- Mince the meat and place in mixer
- Add burger mix and mix well, to evenly distribute
- Gradually add water and mix in until absorbed
- Re-mince through a 5mm or 8mm plate to achieve the desired texture
- Note: Mincing the meat through a coarser plate will result in a coarser textured sausage. Temperature after processing should not exceed 5o
Bowl Chopper
- Roughly dice the meat and place in the bowl cutter
- On slow speed, sprinkle on burger mix and chop until dispersed
- Gradually add half the water (iced cold water) and chop until absorbed. (This step can be carried out on a high speed to obtain a finer textured sausage if desired)
- On slow speed, add the balance of the water and chop until desired texture is obtained
Ingredients: Rusk (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Salt, Raising Agent (E503)), Wheat Flour (Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Salt, Soya Protein, Dehydrated Apple, Onion, Spices (Pepper, Ginger, Paprika), Flavour Enhancer (E621), Preservative (E223), Herbs (Thyme, Majoram, Parsley, Sage, Basil), Humectant (E1520), Antioxidant (E301), Sugar, Dextrose, Acid (E330), Flavouring, Yeast Powder, Sunflower Oil, Smoke Flavouring.
Allergens: Wheat, Gluten, Soya, Sulphites
