Smoky Chilli Beef Flatbreads: Recipe

Looking for something quick, flavour-packed and perfect for a mid-week menu refresh? These Smoky Chilli Beef Flatbreads are bold, vibrant and incredibly easy to prepare.

The hero of this recipe is our Firecracker Sausage Mix, a punchy blend of spices that delivers warmth, smokiness and just the right level of heat. It’s designed for sausages, but it works beautifully with minced beef for quick meals like this.

Making time: 30 Minutes

Serves: 4 People

Ingredients:

  • 500g beef mince (15–20% fat works best)
  • 25g Firecracker Sausage Mix
  • 4 flatbreads or wraps
  • 1 red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 handful fresh rocket
  • 1 tomato (diced)

For the yoghurt:

  • 150g natural yoghurt
  • Juice of ½ lemon
  • Small handful fresh coriander (chopped)
  • Pinch of salt

Method:

  • Combine the beef mince with the Firecracker Sausage Mix and mix thoroughly to distribute the spices evenly
  • Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat and cook the mince for 6–8 minutes until browned and fully cooked
  • Mix the yoghurt, lemon juice, coriander and salt
  • Warm the flatbreads, spoon over the spicy beef, top with onion, tomato and rocket, then drizzle with the cooling yoghurt sauce
