Butchers Steak Pie Seasoning & Gravy Mix

Our Steak Pie Seasoning & Gravy Mix can be used as a pie seasoning or a gravy mix. Full of flavour, this pie mix is a tasty complement with steak. Make homemade pastry for a 'proper hearty homemade pie.

Instructions:

Recipe for use as Seasoning

• Add 250g mix to 500g cold water and mix into a paste
• Add the cooked meat to the mixture and stir in well
• Add more water if a looser consistency is required
• Fill pie casing with the mixture for a thick pie seasoning

Recipe for use as Gravy

• Add 500g mix to 3.5kg cold water and mix well
• Add the pre-cooked meat and bring to the boil
• Leave to cook for 10 min or until the required consistency is achieved

Ingredients: Modified Starch, Wheat Flour, Salt, Colour E150, H.V.P. (Soya), Dehydrated Onion, Spice Extracts, Celery Extract.
