Lorne Sausage Mix
Perfect for making a traditional Scottish square sausage, this Lorne Sausage Mix is ideally used with our Lorne Sausage Pan. A traditional Scottish Lorne Sausage would be made with half pork and half beef, so you change our recipe accordingly. With instructions provided below, this mix is ready to provide you with a fantastic tasting sausage.

- Recipe can also be used with either beef or steak mince
Instructions:
- Assemble all the ingredients and mince beef. Add the Lorne Sausage Mix to the beef and mix well, then gradually add water and mix. Re-mince.
- Put 2.3kg/5lb of mixture into Lorne Sausage Pans. Place the filled pans into the fridge and allow to settle – for best results, it should be left in the fridge overnight.
- Remove the Lorne Sausage from the pans
- Cut thick slices between 10-15mm
