Ingredients:
- 1kg Diced beef steak (rump or sirloin)
- 120g of Middletons BBQ glaze
- 2 Red onions, cut into chunks
- 2 Peppers (any colour), cut into chunks
- 200g Mushrooms
- 1 tbsp Smoked paprika
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- Salt & black pepper
- Metal or wooden skewers
Method:
- Cut the beef into evenly sized chunks to ensure consistent cooking and a professional finish
- In a bowl, combine the steak with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Add BBQ glaze and mix well until fully coated. Leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes for maximum flavour
- Thread the steak onto skewers, alternating with onion, peppers and mushrooms for a colourful, balanced skewer
- Cook on a preheated BBQ for 8–10 minutes, turning regularly
- No BBQ? No problem, these can also be cooked under a grill or in a hot oven
- Serve hot with flatbreads, salads, or classic BBQ sides like chips or coleslaw
